Introducing Giant Arborvitae Oil
They stand over our land as beacons of our ancient past. They tell the stories of the First Nation communities that have existed in the Pacific Northwest for almost 10,000 years. The Totem Poles. They're only found in the Pacific Northwest and they're only carved from Giant Arborvitae (Thuja plicata). And when you use Giant Arborvitae Oil, you're bringing 10,000 years of history into your fragrance creation.
To experience it for yourself, send us a quick email and we'll mail you a free sample. Easy as that.

Sacred, but not rare.
For Pacific Northwesteners, Giant Arborvitae is a sacred tree. But it's not a rare one. It's extremely abundant, being one of the most widespread trees in the Pacific Northwest. And not surprisingly, in the Pacific Northwest, we use it for everything from houses to furniture to ornaments and works of art. In this we carry on a tradition started by the First Nation tribes, such as the Haida, who used Giant Arborvitae not only for their totem poles, but also for their canoes, religious materials and arts and crafts. In fact, so central was it to their existence, that they called it the "Tree of Life".
